Extremely loud yuri subtext w/ (non-objectifying) bdsm visuals during music performances? ✅ Subverting the standard お嬢様学校 and Class S tropes with ladies in a secret rock band, cussing out anything and everything, while maintaining their public image? ✅ Well-written characters who get lots of development? ✅ Issues of social class conflict, societal expectations, self-exploration, and being true to yourself? ✅ Also gotta commend the story on sticking to an instrumental rock band, and selling it really well.

At first I was iffy about a seinen doing the all-girls school (something I generally associate with shoujo), but it sold it fairly well as the story developed (and it eventually became more about inner-conflict and band dynamics anyway). There were times things felt a bit unrealistic or unconvincing, but overall the energy of this show was really on fire, and extremely enjoyable. I'm looking forward to reading vol 5 of the manga (where the show leaves off)

If you're used to the standard お嬢様 keigo, it shouldn't be so hard. There's occasionally some music vocab and modified band name references, but nothing overly technical. I usually had a few words to look up during the episodes, especially when I was audio only.
