Fifteen year old Kuroki Tomoko has dated dozens of boys and is easily the most popular girl around-- inside her dating games. In reality, she gets tongue tied just talking to people, and throughout middle school she's only had one actual friend. Even though I had to pause often to recharge my cringe resistors, I'd still recommend this anime.
The way music and exaggerated visuals are used to support what is happening in the story is expertly done. I wish more anime had this quality

I've only watched the first 3 eps rn, but think it's a decent adaptation of the わたモテ manga | L25 (which I love). For some reason, it's not really grabbing me as much as the manga does though. Also kinda reminds me of ぼっち・ざ・ろっく | L28 sometimes - tho they're very different shows. I'm putting it down for now, but will probably come back to it after I've read more of the manga.
The L27 rating seems a bit high, particularly since the manga is only L25. That said, there's a lot of pop culture references, slang expressions, and euphemisms that can easily be missed (while still being easy to follow the story).
