Series Blurb

In the near future, a Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online has been released where players control their avatars with their bodies using a piece of technology called Nerve Gear. Ordinal Scale is awesome! The recap episodes are exactly what they sound like, and the "Sword Art Offline" stuff is pretty mediocre and hard to get through.

The Progressive movies work well on their own, but are a mixed bag wrt how they adapt the source material. Personally I felt there was a lot of missed opportunity, and poor adaptation choices (especially with Aria), but that aside they're enjoyable films.
