Good modern vibe, but too compressed
I'm writing this after episode 4. I think they got the vibe down pretty well for a modern adaptation. However watching it alongside the 1970s 赤毛のアン | L29, this version is very compressed - essentially like getting the highlights - and I don't really feel that same spark & connection from it. For me the 1970s version feels much more organic and developed. Seeing Anne grow into her new household, and farm life, and watching Anne, Matthew, and Marira
