It's an okay book, teaches very few kanji for it's cost (240 kanji for £15). It's probably best for younger children since it's very interactive with puzzles and stuff to reinforce kanji. In my opinion, there are better resource I would reccomend over this

It’s basically just a vocabulary list. It’s good for learning the vocabulary you need since it has loads of words. However, only around 1500 of them have audio. The words are sectioned by a theme, then sectioned again. There’s 12 main sections, each with 5 mini sections that have around 40 words. There’s no questions, pictures so it’s not really the most interesting book.

Great for a first book since it uses masu form, straight forward sentences and sectioned into short chapters. Only problem is that there’s not much kanji in lower grades making it hard to recognise words sometimes. The book was interesting to read since I didn’t know some of the people and found out new facts about the ones I knew
