I enjoyed the story a lot, I devoured the whole book in three days (which usually doesn't happen to me).
I deliberately chose to not create vocabulary cards for this book but only look up words to understand the flow of the story. This was alright for the majority of the book but I didn't end up having much clue about what was going on in any of the magical scenes and explanations. This didn't hold me back too much though, since those scenes tended to be short.
