Super cute and a great first manga
The manga itself is super cute, but as others have said, not much is happening. But this is why it’s a great manga for first timers. The vocabulary is fairly easy — I’m on level 13 of WK and finished Genki 1 — and did not have to look up loads.
If you are looking for your first LN, you found it
I picked this up as my first LN and I think this is a great choice for anyone else looking for their first forray into walls of text. :) I was around lvl 17 in WK when I started and now I'm lvl 25 and this was an excellent book for drilling in quite a lot of the vocabulary items that appear in WK around these levels (and below). Sure, there is some very specific handicrafts and cooking vocab, but I did not mind those, because I'm also into both of those activities, so it was nice to come across
