From a language-learning perspective, I think this graded reader is great because it has a form that is repeated, and within this form, new words were introduced.
But it feels like this story was written by someone who thinks very little of women. It's basically about a woman who can't keep track of time:

The story had substance to it, considering it was only 13 pages. It also got a bit trippy, which was a nice change of pace. A lot of dialog giving a nice repeated framework and -て conjugations.
