Hello! I'm Ray, an artist who's also been learning Japanese as a second language.
I first became interested in learning Japanese as a child getting into Vocaloid and UTAU back in 2008. I want to take my studies more seriously and put more effort into fully learning, rather than keeping at the slow, casual pace that's held me back over the years.
My main goals right now are:
- Dedicate more time to reading manga and novels in their original text.
- Watch shows with Japanese subtitles rather than English ones.
- Be able to communicate more with Japanese artists and other creatives whose work I enjoy!
