this was pure fun to read :D
i like the premise. girl gets dumped, girl gets angry, goes to the arcade and punches a boxing machine. second girl comes up and shows her how to punch better! second girl is featherweight world champion, and invites girl to her match tonight. girl decides to become a boxer.
i love how the young women in this manga are drawn to be strong. they have muscles, and a strong stance. sometimes it's a bit of a caricature, but it's quite restrained really.

i first watched the anime many years ago, and it’s been a favourite of mine ever since. with a few rewatches, i know the characters and plot quite well. going into the manga, i knew to expect some differences. and there are plenty, sometimes small details, sometimes quite large differences. but the characters remain true to themselves.

at the reading level, not too difficult. very casual language, which sometimes made me stumble. fun vocab applicable to my interests. who'd have guessed that レッチリ is Red Hot Chili Peppers? :D
interesting to see characters with piercings and tattoos, and seeing them navigate between fitting in at school at expressing themselves. would love to see more of this story.
