Just a massive nerd who is interested in just about anything and everything. I always say that if I'm not interested in something, it's just because I have not yet found the right perspective.
I prefer to enjoy content (movies, TV-series, anime, books, manga, games, you name it) in their original language. When this is paired with the fact that I watch and read so much anime, manga and light novels, it's no wonder that I wanted to learn Japanese. Everyone I know always wonder why I'm ready to go to such length even though there are translations available, but I don't think I need to explain that to anyone here :D.
