New shows: I’ll give 5 stars to a series that I've seen or know that I'll see several times. I‘ll give 4 stars to shows if I‘d watch the next season. I‘ll give 3 stars if I‘d watch the whole series with enough time at hand, 2 stars if I can’t stand to watch the whole series, and 1 star if I can’t stand to watch the first episode, though usually I won’t bother to add such a series to LN just to stop it.

Books and movies: I will give 4 stars to books or movies that are as good as I thought.
