i started learning in high school as a language requirement.
i picked it though because of my love for anime and my favorite food growing up was japanese bento boxes haha..
after high school i continued learning and eventually traveled there in 2019 with my family :))
it was amazing and since then i chose japanese as my major at uc davis
in the future, i hope to study abroad and live there as an english teacher
