LOVED THIS READER.
I can't stress how much I appreciate how the author put so much emotion in such a small story. The emotion is subtle, however, by the time you reach the last sentence of the story, it will leave your heart full and put a smile on your face. So grateful that I could reach a place in Japanese where I can read stories like this and truly appreciate the warmth and emotion captured within them. It's probably my favorite Tadoku reader so far. Highly recommend <3
Loved the story! The kanji in the vocab included furigana & the story also featured family related words in a fun context which will make it easier to learn or revise them. Both the cats in the story were really かわいい, especially Naito-chan 🐈💕
This story is a very entertaining depiction of the lego-like nature of the Japanese language. It's also the kind of story one can try reading after having learnt the particles - especially が & の - to see if they can grasp their usage in the story. It's a very fun reader both from an entertainment and language learning perspective (◍•ᴗ•◍)
It's a very short and fun story best for absolute beginners. The terms for "Rock-Paper-Scissors" which are unique to the game in Japanese (along with the phrase あいこでしょう!) might be new for beginners but they can be understood from context and the last page of the book illustrates them well. It's a nice read overall (◍•ᴗ•◍)
This is probably the cutest story I've read on Tadoku.org. The vocabulary is simple and the illustrations are so colourful and lovely!! It's suitable for even an absolute beginner who knows hiragana and some vocab. I'll definitely recommend this story to anyone who wishes to start their Japanese reading journey. I'm sure they'll enjoy it!! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
A Little Scary, But Fun
What happens when you start hearing voices at night in the library and find a book waiting for you that disappears as soon as you look away?
Things get ちょっと こわい in this Tadoku reader, but overall it's a fun, easy read. :D
