I don't usually like reading battles, but the author used it to develop so many different parts of the story and characters, in ways I was really not expecting.
I'd say about 60-70% of the PoV this time around is Anis, and the rest is split between different characters (including of course Yufi), depending on the scene. The author also manages to introduce new magical/魔学 details without ever getting boring, or going on long info-dumps. If this is any indication of the next volumes, I'm really excited.
I read along with the audiobook, and while I think it was overall solid, I'd recommend following the text if you listen to it. The narrator doesn't always do the best job of making it clear who's speaking (admittedly challenging with a cast this big), so it may be a bit confusing without
