This graded reader set isn't bad but there are better choices at this level. This pack includes 5 nonfiction books with 2 photo books with captions, 2 day in the life books, and a book about many ways rice is used in Japanese culture. It's a step up in text density to Volume 7 while staying at the beginner level.
