(4.54/5)One of the Most Beautiful Stories I've Ever Read
LOVED THIS READER.
I can't stress how much I appreciate how the author put so much emotion in such a small story. The emotion is subtle, however, by the time you reach the last sentence of the story, it will leave your heart full and put a smile on your face. So grateful that I could reach a place in Japanese where I can read stories like this and truly appreciate the warmth and emotion captured within them. It's probably my favorite Tadoku reader so far. Highly recommend <3
Perfect jumping point from curated to native stuff
A story aimed towards learners but still gets actual investment out of you to care about it and its characters. This might be my favorite graded reader. It´s also level 4 which imo makes it the ideal jumping point to switch to native material (once you can read level 4 comfortably!).
Highly recommended, level 4 graded readers should be your primary reading source in my view, right before you start tackling "the real deal".
A story about a girl from Russia who worries about her sick mother during the coldest time of the year. Simple grammar and mostly short sentences. Beautiful illustrations.
Cute, mostly easy to understand
There was one or two kanji and one or two words I didn't know. The reader does a good job. It seems like it might have been a true story.
