Volume 1 Description: A thousand years ago, in the Heian period. A letter written by Chiko — an aristocratic young lady with a rather unconventional sense of style — is carried by a mischievous gust of wind to Toru, a young nobleman wise beyond his years. Moved by the distinctive letter's contents, Toru composes a reply. What will come of this single, chance exchange of letters — and where will it lead from here?
