It's definitely an improvement over the first book, and interesting enough to keep reading. It's a very unrealistic story, for better or worse. We got a bit of Meguru's PoV this time, along with a new character, and what looks like it's gonna be some trying moments... you can see the toxic parts coming out already, in various ways. Also it's impressive how clueless/senseless Kasane can be. I'd get it if she were just out of college or something, but she even said in vol 1, she's probably like 10
