My main thought on this book is: I don't really like reading sports festivals, but I enjoyed this book pretty well.

As you might guess from the last novel, the main drama is centered around Yumi & Kanako, with a little bit of Touko mixed in. However, probably 2/3rds of the book is the sports festival, so it's really pretty light in advancing the main plot. Since it's the sports festival, as you might imagine Yumi, Yoshino, and Sachiko are the main characters you'll get to see. It's nice to see how Yumi & Sachiko's relationship has matured, and how Yumi has grown more confident in both her relationship with Sachiko, and her dealing with the underclassmen. While it's not a huge amount in the book, my favorite parts are the interactions with Touko, who makes for quite an enjoyable tsundere :)

Looking forward to the next book, as always!
