빛나 is a young girl who has lots of beautiful dolls, so why is she jealous of her cousin's doll, which is very ugly?
I have mixed feeling about this book: on one hand 빛나 learns a sweet little lesson from her kind 오빠, and the simple language makes it good for learners; on the other hand, the narration feels detached and emotionless, as though the characters are being observed from a distance in the style of a wildlife documentary. Needless to say, this doesn't endear them to the reader, and it definitely impacted my enjoyment of the story.
If you're specifically looking for something to read at this level for language practice, then it's an adequate choice, but the unsatisfying narrative style means I wouldn't particularly recommend it from an entertainment perspective.
