Story: There's a lot to love about the series! It has a beautiful setting, some incredibly enjoyable moments, and two leads who are extremely cute together! The main PoV lead, Mikoto, is really enjoyable and adorable, and a great ball of positivity (most of the time). One thing I love is that her accent has actual story and character relevance, instead of just being a superficial character quirk*. If you've read some other characters who speak in Kansai-ben, you'll probably be fine. Otherwise it may be a bit challenging.

There are some places where the story is a bit rough around the edges. The other lead, Nekozaki, is a much trickier character. She's a bit hypocritical, initially high and mighty, etc (quite the tsundere), but there's more to her than you see at first sight. The side characters are also initially a bit under-developed, mainly serving as over the top comic relief and/or a mechanism to unite the two leads. The one exception is Tsubosa, who is an important source of tension for Nekozaki, and has her own set of circumstances going on.

Both Nekozaki and the side characters start getting some more development towards the end, but that may make it a bit hard for some to maintain interest, in the meantime. Things really flourish much more in volume 2 though.

Language: This and 君の名は | L22 were my first stories with prominent use of dialects (iirc), and I found this one a bit easier to get through, my first time around. Some of the characters use very contracted speech, but usually nothing too extreme. While the first two chapters had a lot of unfamiliar words, after that the vocabulary becomes a lot more typical.

Conclusion: Overall I absolutely loved this story the first time around, and still enjoyed it a lot this time around. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but give it a chapter or two, and you may find yourself as absorbed by the adorable leads and setting as I was. If not, there plenty of other yuri in the sea.

* The only other story I can remember reading that utilizes dialect well is 熱帯魚は雪に焦がれる | L24, in which Konatsu's Tokyo accent initially causes her to stand out, and gradually shifts as she acclimates/assimilates to her new home.
